Systems Xcellence Lands Another Multi-Million Dollar Contract with Major US Healthcare Provider 

MILTON, ONTARIO, Feb. 26, 1999 - Systems Xcellence (TSE: SXC), a leading provider of electronic transaction processing software for the healthcare industry, announced today that a major US healthcare provider has licensed Systems Xcellence's Healthcare Pharmacy Benefits System (HX-PBS). For competitive reasons, the name and value of the contract cannot be disclosed at this time. This contract further enhances a solid sales pipeline as the 1999 fiscal year closes.
