With this initial two year contract in place HxBenefit Inc. will provide pharmacy benefits processing services to a major U.S. Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) company. This agreement represents the most recent customer for HxBenefit and its application service offering, ClaimRx. Under the terms of the agreement, HxBenefit will supply its leading edge, full function, pharmacy benefit processing service and related Drug DecisionsT advanced reporting service, enabling the Customer to deliver effective and flexible healthcare benefit solutions to its customers. HxBenefit Inc. will work with the Customer to migrate approximately 260,000 covered lives to the new service targeting a production implementation for 1st quarter of 2001. Over the next two years, the companies will work together to achieve a projected growth potential of 500,000 covered lives.
