SXC Health Solutions ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION OF Michael Callaghan from board of Directors

Lombard, Illinois January 2, 2007, SXC Health Solutions (“SXC” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: SXCI; TSX: SXC), announces that, effective today, Michael Callaghan has resigned from his position on the board of directors to pursue other interests.  The process to replace Mr. Callaghan is underway and is expected to be completed early in the new year.

Glenn, Chairman and CEO of SXC.  “Mike spent the majority of his tenure on the board as our Chairman and helped navigate SXC through an important transition phase that saw us emerge as one of healthcare’s most innovative providers of tools, technology and services to manage pharmaceuticals. We wish him well in his future endeavors.”
