Dan Hardin
Senior Vice President
Public Sector & Resident Care Management
Mr. Hardin serves as Senior Vice President, Public Sector and Resident Care Management for SXC Health Solutions, Inc. He has complete accountability for the Fee-for-Service State Medicaid sector, State Employee, and Long Term Care programs. Mr. Hardin joined SXC in 2006 as Vice President, Business Development – Public Sector, where his responsibilities included sales, marketing, proposal development, clinical program operations, provider relations, and strategic planning to increase SXC’s presence in government sponsored pharmacy programs. Previously, Mr. Hardin served as Vice President, Business Development and Clinical Services for ACS State Healthcare, LLC. Prior to ACS, he was Associate Vice-President, Pharmacy Programs, for Keystone Mercy Health Plan where he led their business development efforts targeted to Medicaid Managed Care Organizations. Subsequent to his tenure with Keystone Mercy, he was with First Health Services Corporation and served in numerous positions including product marketing, account management, and rebate services. While at First Health, he was responsible for the development of the supplemental rebate program incorporating “Best Practices” for the Michigan Department of Community Health. Prior to First Health, Mr. Hardin worked for the Rite Aid Corporation in the mid-Atlantic area.
Mr. Hardin obtained his M.B.A. with honors in Healthcare Management from Duke University in 1997 and a B.S. degree in Pharmacy from the University of South Carolina in 1979. He is an active member of NCPDP where he currently serves as Chair on the Board of Trustees, Executive Committee, Co-Chairs the Manufacturer Rebates work group (WG7), and participates in multiple committees and work groups. He is also a member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP).
