Mark A. Adkison
Senior Vice President, Mail and Specialty
Mr. Adkison is Senior Vice President for informedRx’s Mail and Specialty Operations. Mr. Adkison joined NMHC in 2003 as president of the company's new Specialty Pharmacy Solutions Division, NMHC Ascend, which is now Ascend SpecialtyRx. In November of 2006 Mr. Adkison assumed responsibility for NMHCMail, which is now informedMail.
Mr. Adkison’s experience includes more than 16 years of management practice in the specialty and mail-order industry. Prior to joining NMHC, Mr. Adkison served as General Manager of Option Care, Inc. where he led the company's specialty pharmacy mail division. While serving as Vice President and General Manager of ScripPharmacy at MIM Corporation, Mr. Adkison was responsible for mail service and specialty pharmacy distribution. At PCS Healthsystems Inc., he built the mail service operation from zero to 30,000 prescriptions per day.
Mr. Adkison earned his Masters Degree from the University of Dallas and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Harding University.
